Campus

The Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI) have dedicated their lives in service to Christ and His Church. Arriving in San Antonio, Texas in 1849, the pioneering missionaries preached Christ’s message to the poor and the most abandoned. Founded over 100 years ago, Oblate School of Theology is an educational apostolate of OMI and is a Catholic graduate, professional and seminary school that provides education in Catholic theology for the church’s mission and ministry in the world.

OST educates and prepares church leaders – priests, deacons, seminarians, non-Catholic clergy, women religious and lay ministers – for mission and ministry through the integration of pastoral experience and theological study.

Oblate School of Theology is a community of scholars and students that respects and celebrates global cultural diversity. Oblate is a community of diverse languages, traditions, and backgrounds firmly rooted in Christ. Oblate is a community of missionary disciples who are equipped “to effectively minister and evangelize the poor in their many faces.
