Eight Day Silent Retreat for Religious and Lay Women
Our vision of nature has sharpened considerably in recent years; we know now that the universe is a single web of being that develops by becoming an ever more diverse and deep communion. As our vision of nature (God’s first book of revelation) sharpens, we can expect our vision of the divine–and Christ–to sharpen as well. Join us for this retreat as we take the time to explore the insights to be gleaned by reflecting on the Gospels of the Easter Season (and the three great feasts that follow: Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, and Corpus Christi) in the light of this new understanding of the cosmos. We will allow our faith, prayer, poetry, and new perception of the universe draw us into a place where we can experience the Spirit of Jesus with a greater intensity and fresh depth. How can we welcome Christ more consciously into our lives as we re-enter the days of “ordinary” time? We may well discover that the answer to this is “hidden in plain sight.”

Retreat Facilitator
Since 2006, Sister Lucy Zientek, CDP has served St. Ignatius Loyola parish in Cincinnati, OH as pastoral associate, and is presently a member of the U.S. Province leadership team for the Sisters of Divine Providence of Kentucky. A NJ native and R&D chemist prior to religious profession, her past ministry experience includes serving as the Director of Spiritual Formation for the Parish-Newman Center at the University of Cincinnati, and as a presenter of numerous retreats, days of reflection, and parish missions.
