Preparing Pastoral Leaders

Our faculty is dedicated to the teaching of pastoral ministry rooted in theology and spirituality. For over 120 years, OST has been forming leaders to preach the Gospel to the poor and most abandoned.

Community of Missionary Disciples

OST opens its doors to Christians from all denominations to access theological education. We are an international, intercultural, bilingual, and ecumenical community of learning.

Rooted in Catholic Tradition

Founded in 1903, with a mission dedicated to the teaching of spirituality, diversity, and ministry, OST continues to provide theological education that transforms lives. In 1849, the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate (OMI), an international apostolic religious congregation of priests and brothers, came to San Antonio. Their mission is to preach Christ’s message and serve the people of God, especially the poor and marginalized.
