Ha Dinh is a Dominican Sister of Tam Hiep in Vietnam. She has a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Religious Studies from Regis University in Colorado, and a Master of Arts Degree in Pastoral Studies and a Master of Arts Degree in Theology from the Aquinas Institute of Theology in Missouri. She formerly served her congregation as a general councilor and professor at Aquinas Institute of Theology in Saigon, Vietnam before entering the doctoral program in Christian Spirituality at Oblate. She is currently a third-year doctoral student and her research interest is focused on how Christian Spirituality as a lived experience of the Gospel can meet, challenge and transform Vietnamese culture within the reality of Confucian Filial Piety in Vietnamese society. This is studied through the contextual theology of Tam Phụ (Three Fathers), the light of Scripture, Christology, and the Communion of Saints. Following completion of her doctorate, Ha plans to serve the Vietnamese Church through teaching and mentoring others, especially young religious, lay men and women, to authentically grow in their spirituality and deepen their vocations harmoniously within the Catholic tradition and Vietnamese culture.
