OST Health Insurance

The 2022/2023 OST Academic Year has a health insurance requirement for enrollment. Students will be able to “waive” out of the premium by providing information that they have current health insurance that meets the Affordable Health Care standards.

A health insurance premium will automatically be included in tuition for the following student designations:

  • All International Students and Ministry to Minsters participants
  • All Masters, DMIN, and PhD students
  • Credit/Audit students enrolled in 8+ hours

EXCLUDED from this is:

  • Any part-time OST student (7 hours or less)
  • Any 100% online students

Annual Policy Coverage Dates :  August 1st -July 31st

Coverage Dates: Fall/Winter 8/1/2022 – 1/08/2023

Coverage Dates : Spring/Summer 1/09/2023 -7/31/2023

Annual Rate: $2,940.00 (12 months of coverage)

Breakdown of Costs

Fall/Winter: $1,295.00

Spring/Summer: $1,645.00

Summer Semester (only): $695.00

WAIVER*
To waive out of the OST Consolidated Health Plan, click here for OST HEALTH INSURANCE WAIVER FORM. The deadline to waive out of the OST Consolidated Health Plan is Friday, August 31, 2022.

N.B. No exceptions will be made for late waivers.

Last day to waive out of Wellfleet group health insurance for the following semesters are as follows:

Fall Semester Registration Begins April 19, 2022. Deadlines For Waiver August 31, 2022.
Winter/Spring** Semester Registration Begins November 8, 2022.  Deadlines For Waiver January 7, 2023.

*The fee will be removed from your OST invoice within five business days from receipt reconciliation report from Wellfleet Group.
