Forgiveness: The Path to Freedom
March 3 @ 9:00 am - March 5 @ 12:00 pm$200 - $220
FORGIVENESS: The Path to Freedom
Structured Silent Retreat for Women
March 3 – 5, 2017
“For you, Lord, are good, and ready to forgive, and abundant in mercy to all those who call upon you.”
– Psalm 86:5
God calls us to seek Him and promises forgiveness. Jesus extends a loving invitation for forgiveness. He gave His life so that all may live. This is amazing love! As disciples of Christ, we are called to continue to love in this way, but it is a personal choice: one that does not ignore an offense, but recognizes it and chooses to continue loving. As such, forgiveness is an on-going process.
- What does it mean to forgive?
- Why should we forgive?
- How do we forgive ourselves and others?
- When is it okay not to forgive?
- How does forgiveness transform pain into renewed health of body, mind and soul?
We invite you to explore forgiveness in a holistic way through prayer, silence, body movement, imagery, guided meditation, creativity, and ritual.
The cost of the retreat is $200 before February 15, $220 after February 15.
This fee includes:
- All meals and beverages during retreat (Lunch on Friday through Breakfast on Sunday)
- Private room with bed linens and towels
- Materials for retreat.
